This book was ranking a solid 3.5 for me until the end. And then it all came together in such a satisfying and interesting way, it jumped right up. So glad that I read it.
This intergenerational novel tells the story of the Turner Family as their matriarch is aging and they've realized that the house they all grew up in is worth way less than the inflated mortgage they owe on it. As Cha Cha, eldest child and his mother's caretaker, debates about what to do with the house, each of the Turner siblings weigh in.
