My life is too similar to hers to find this anything but a raging, disappointing fantasy. At the end, she bags a millionaire, gets famous, gets rich, recovers from shopping in one fell swoop zzz. Not for those who watch Intervention. She gets a ton of "pangs" for things all the time and people are always telling her that she looks amazing, "seriously." I feel like an alien because I love chic lit and this was condescending, particularly to anyone who know 1/8th of an iota about the entertainment

I would actually give the first half of this book 4 stars and the second half 2 stars--thus an average rating of 3 stars for the whole thing. I loved the character and found her whole situation (and how she managed to never deal with it) immensely amusing. But the conclusion seemed way too serious and contrived. And by then the character was simply annoying. Still a fun read, though.
I saw the movie trailer and thought it looked fun, so I figured I'd check out the book before I go see the movie. It was entertaining and fun, we'll see how the movie stacks up against it.

Book is decent as Rom Com novels go, but I found the main character too frustrating to truly enjoy this. May still read the rest of the series though :)
I read this the day my car broke down and I thought I was going to have to somehow buy a new one. It was not helpful to read about this much debt.
I torture myself with this book. I can't stand what Becky gets away with, and how everything works out for her in the end.
