Loved this and highly recommend listening to the audiobook!!
Going in - I wasn’t too sure what to expect. A trusted friend recommended it so I went in without knowing much and expecting a fairly typical celebrity memoir. This was much more - I learned a lot more about Noah and also about growing up in South Africa.

This is the best memoir I have read since Andre Agassi’s Open. So well crafted and well written, packed with insight and information on modern South Africa, full of rich characters from Noah’s life (amongst whom his incredible mother shines). Given that this book ends in Noah’s early adulthood, it’s even more remarkable that his story is so rich and doesn’t fall into the easy traps of other memoirs written by people who are early/mid-career.
