What Members Thought
A very difficult yet historically and culturally important read.
I didn't think this book was particularly well written or easy to read, but it details such an important (and not widely known) event in history that I gave it four stars. The book tells of the atrocities committed by the Japanese upon the Chinese people in World War II. This really brings war crimes and accountability to the forefront and the subject matter is still timely as we Americans deal with our own wars, crimes, and accountability.
