So here's the thing. I really like Gabourey Sidibe. I have watched almost none of her work, but wanted to read her story and I'm glad I did. Her background is intriguing, she's funny as hell, and more emotionally open than I think I'd be able to be in a book about myself. But I'm not sure the editor did her any favors when arranging the pieces and stories. It felt a bit disjointed, going neither chronologically nor thematically.
