Since my grandma's death, my reading list might be considered a little more morbid than usual, but it's been inordinately helpful for me to intellectually process death, specifically her death, and my subsequent grief. I really loved Caitlin Doughty's Smoke Gets in Your Eyes: And Other Lessons from the Crematory (2014), and, if I had to do things over again, I think I might choose a career as a hospice worker or a mortician or a grief counselor.
