What Members Thought
Very cool book, but the further it got into the future the less I understood. Lots of speculation, of course, but I expected that. I wonder how things would be different if he wrote this today, with advances in AI and space exploration.
This is incredibly readable and engaging. Kaku makes traveling beyond seem so easy and reachable. He includes the costs and impediments but all obstacles will be overcome inevitably. Just a matter of time. It's awesome and exciting.
As for writing style, Kaku lays out the path logically and he is easy to follow even without a science background.
Also I immediately looked up MRDS and would LOVE to spend time there. ...more
