Both Suman and I enjoyed this as an audiobook. The stories hit the same general themes and aren’t as varied in form and perspective as my favorite short story collections, but each tale is well-crafted and offers a different window into the refugee/immigrant/expat experience.
Every one of these stories was amazing.
