My present to myself ... so why wait for my birthday to open it? I'm reading it NOW! Some of these essays I remember from the site, others are new to me - I haven't read every single thing Ms Brosh has posted, so I can't tell if these are never-before-seen, or if I just missed them. IF YOU LOVE HYPERBOLE AND A HALF, YOU WILL LOVE THIS BOOK. IF YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF HYPERBOLE AND A HALF, BUT THIS COVER LOOKS INTERESTING, YOU WILL LOVE THIS BOOK. I can not explain how much this book spoke to me. Brosh writes about her life, her depression, and the world around her in such a way that I feel like she could be talking directly to me. I love this book and I love her. I wish there were more stars.

Seriously, why are you reading this review? You should run right out and get this book! It's a pale substitute for the years when Alli Brosh regularly updated her site. Still, I'm thrilled that her book exists, and it's funny as hell. ...more
