I was totally annoyed by Trixie. I was supposed to feel sympathetic towards her but she was so annoying and whiny that I had a really hard time with her. I was more annoyed because considering what she was put through, I wanted to feel sorry for her but just couldn't. I find Picoult's books interchangeable. Just replace the tragedy and the names in the family involved.
