What Members Thought
I love music and this is a book of essays about why nick Hornsby loves these songs. He is a genius writer in the fact that he could make me understand why he loved these songs. (Some very obscure). Thanks to rdio I could pull up the songs and listen while I was reading. A unique experience that he could not have imagined in 2003. Musical is a personal experience and I think that is why this gets a 3 stars. If you love music you will like this book.
This was a fantastic collection of essays. You don't have to know th emusic he talks about to appreciate the book, yo ujust need to have an appreciation for music and what it can do to a person. I'm really excited to read his novels now that I understand Hornby's mind. He was so much fun to read.
