Shelves: mystery
Reasonably bog standard collection of short stories from Agatha Christie. I'd run across a few of them in other collections, but some were new to me. I was also reminded why I've never really gotten into the Parker Pyne stories: his obsession with "types" really highlights the English ability to be racist against literally everybody (ah, so you're Welsh and you got upset about being suspected of a crime? Had encountered two stories in this collection previously, “The Dream,” and “The Mystery of the Baghdad Chest” — though the version of the latter I read was an expanded version that substituted ‘Spanish’ for ‘Baghdad.’ An interesting collection, though a couple of the stories weren’t mysteries, such as “Problem at Pollensa Bay” and “Through a Mirror Darkly.”

9 short stories - I haven't read any of these before, but I have seen the adaptations. As short stories they are OK, the adaptations were excellent :-)
