Why do people in classics stories always have exciting romance? XD
This book is very absurd but in a good way, reminds me a bit of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Same gothic vibes, same intense love story, same mysterious outsider - all those elements that make a book classics :)
Also, reading The Phantom of The Opera made me want to watch the musical!

I only read this after having watched the movie that was newly released. I really just read because I wanted to know more. Like what really happened to the phantom and why was he the way he was. It is a beautiful tale of love and mystery and I couldn't put it down. I saw all the characters in my own except for Christine...for some reason the image of her from the film fit perfectly in my imagination!
