This was NOT the best of Nicholas Sparks. I know he can and should do better. I was annoyed and disappointed, as well as frustrated. Some parts were interesting and suspenseful though. I didn't like how he'd shift voices in the middle of a section and how he tried to make the villains look like victims. There were so many places he could have gone with this novel and he didn't. Plus, it was really sappy. I hope he can produce something better next time. I love him as an author and don't want to

Just ok for me! Typically I love Nicholas Sparks, bur this one disappointed me.
