Novels that even hint at the same subject matter are no doubt compared and stand in the shadow. Other authors will try to capitalize on that familiarity to tell their story. In the book Above, author Isla Morley has put together a hodgepodge of concepts none of which go together. An interesting idea or twist does not make a book.
