When I first picked up this book I knew several friends had enjoyed it. I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly surpassed any expectations I might have had.

This book is immensely silly, incredibly clever, and endlessly enjoyable. It also makes me start writing weird things, like "endlessly enjoyable." I can only imagine how much fun Dunn had with writing this (and how equally frustrating it must have been!!) This is a short, quick, fun read; there's no reason not to read it, and so many reasons to read it!! I hope it is being assigned in high school English classes around the world, because I can only imagine how much fun a classroom would have wit

I loved this novel. It can be read and enjoyed very superficially but can also be looked at in a deeper way...an examination of how a police state could come about. Quite fresh and clever.
I have no idea why I haven't read this already- it's ridiculously cute! Fantastic for grammarians and really... everyone.

This is most easily compared to Animal Farm, I think. Kind of interesting. Cute and clever. A fun, easy read once you get past the first few boring pages.
