the writing on this wasn't fabulous, but it was a quick read with some interesting characters. definitely felt like an unfinished book, and the world building wasn't that fabulous, but dane and aerin were interesting enough and parts reminded me of battlestar galactica, which let's fact it, i adore.

Great set up of an entertaining story that would have appeal to boys and girls ( i think). 2 teens end up at the same "futuristic" academey but are soon drawn together and realize they are more important than they think.

Just lots of fun. The characters draw you in. But for more of the political intrigue with romance try Sherwood Smith or Sharon Shinn.
