frightening. quiet. erotic. sad. i totally dug it. there were other folks that reviewed this book that hated the ending, thought it was sloppy. i, however, loved that this book peered into a situation, watched it like a fly on the wall, and then exited silently. no huge climax, no epiphany or transformation.
