I'm not really into YA stories-especially those that heavily loaded with romance :D But this book somehow captured my heart, because its holiday theme is so heartwarming, without being cheesy or too sweet.
Because this is a short story collection, there are some stories that I like better than the others.
The ones from Michael de Pena, Stephanie Perkins, Kiersten White and Jenny Han are my favorite. Rainbow Rowell, Gayle Forman and David Levithan, writers who I already know and have read before, o ...more

This book is very cozy. Many sweet stories about teenage romance at the holidays, but it doesn't get overly sappy. Some standouts for me were the ones by Rainbow Rowell, Matt de la Peña, Holly Black and Kiersten White. I've never read the last three authors on that list (although I have heard of Holly Black) so I am excited to read some of their books.

There were a couple stories I really enjoyed - The Lady and the Fox and It’s A Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown - but most of these just didn’t work for me. I love Laini Taylor but I hated hers, for example. I really wanted this to be fun and super festive and it felt far more peripherally “holiday” (and sometimes not even that) and generally more depressing than I would have liked.

(Audiobook - Which will start being a new mark on these reviews as my 40-minute drive each way to work has become a new time for podcasts and books now.)
This was about as amazing as I was expecting it to be. Most of the stories, like all good short stories, left me longing for more at their ends and fully sure those worlds went on somewhere beyond the last word in each other. I was a little distracted by the narrator changing every story, but otherwise a mass advise for anyone who wants some che ...more

Cute little stories for the holiday season. Some where much more entertaining than others...and I discovered some authors that I hadn't read before. The story by Matt de la Pana sticks out in my mind with the emotion expressed.

This was a fun collection of Holiday stories!! Laini's was worthy of a whole book with the richness of world building for the short story!! There really weren't any of the stories that I didn't enjoy!!
