Um. This really was just like reading a long Reddit thread (a poorly written one, at that). So if that's your jam, have at it. It was way too disjointed for me, I didn't find anything creepy or scary, and the kids did NOT act/talk like children at all which was very jarring.

I wanted to like this and, at first, I almost did. There's a solid, creepy story buried underneath a metric ton of prose and exhausting descriptions. This was especially off-putting when retelling events from kindergarten, which winds up being a significant number of pages. By the time I got to the reveal at the end, I was over this whole book.
