This was a slow read for me. The chapters jumped from one time line to another and it took me almost a third of the book to see the pattern in that. I was interested in Malcolm’s family and friends and lessons, but the flashbacks made it difficult to understand some of the characters in depth... his when I felt I was getting a handle on Malcolm’s relationship with a brother or sister, it would flashback to his father or mother... and I didn’t see the purpose.
