Ok, ok, Harris has reeled me back in with this one. When SOOKIE HERSELF admits to and realizes what a cliche her life has become, she almost does two things 1) go even MORE in the direction of cliche and 2) turn the hell away from it.

I started out thinking that this series was pure trash, but I have to say the story telling is getting better and better with each book. There seems to be actual character development and it doesn't feel like they are all facing the same problems, just with slightly different details in each book. I'm actually excited to pick up the next novel, where as before I felt like I was kinda slodging through them. All in all, must better! A good, easy read.

Oh Sookie... I really feel for this girl. I really do. I am glad to see this series moving into a slightly more complicated view of relationships, and with a much heavier dose of the "supes." Ready for the next book, please!
