What Members Thought
I like to read something positive or inspiring before bed each night. This did a nice job of fitting that criterion. It was an enjoyable read and I am sad that the book has ended.
This was a cute book left behind at the vacation home we rented this summer, which I read while there and left for the next guests. In it, Holland tells the brief story of unusual animal pairings that come as close to 'friendships' as you can get without asking the animals themselves. She shies away from traditional pairings like cats and dogs that coexist or species of sealife that live in a mutually beneficial arrangement. What a sweet (and true) story!
Not sure what I was expecting, but I'm pretty sure this could have just as easily been a list online as opposed to a book. Nothing particularly exciting.
