At first this book is so depressing I didn’t know if I could soldier on, but I’m glad I did. I enjoyed the end and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. The premise is that teens are contracting a disease that is causing them to kill themselves and the program tries to catch the teens before they die so they can wipe their memories in the hopes that if the teens are reset they will be okay. I just could not with this book. One disc and I was done. Creepily overprotective (and easy to see th epathology that would lead to him being abusive) boyfriend, insanely melodramatic cliched terms at every turn, and a compelling premise (I really wanted it to be a dysopian sequel to Heathers) that fell flat very soon. Also, the reader was pretty dull and was a little too much with the aspirating of Hs in WH words. Meh meh meh.

Not sure why I liked this as much as I did. But I had a hard time putting it down, and when I did I couldn't wait to get back to it.
