Quite a case of MURRRRDERRRRR! Everyone's a suspect, everyone has a motive.... everyone get comfy for a classic whodunnit. There's no question as to why this book, and Agatha Christie herself, is a classic. It read like a fun play in my head, complete with different voices and accents. After seeing the recent movie in the theater, I realized this was a classic mystery that I had never taken the time to read. It is a pleasant but cerebral read, as are all of the Poirot novels, and the ending satisfies proponents of both mercy and justice.
I had watched this movie so long ago and remembered the end. I love reading Agatha's novel for a simple whodunit.
