I love the writing style of this book-it's beautifully tragic description of life under apartheid in South Africa is incredibly poignant. This book resurrected a passion for the social justice I believe in, reminding me how unfair the world can be. Though I cried through most of it, I would recommend it whole heartedly...Alan Paton's book is a must-read for anyone who is human.
