a disappointing sophomore book for weisberger. she seems to rely too much on the city as a character to pull off the story she wants to tell - which, when it gets boiled down, is the most boring-already-read-this-ten-times plot ever.

It was ok, she get's old after a while, I feel like the author is more about trying to drop names of random famous rich New Yorkers instead of trying to tell a decent story. I also lost sympathy for the main charecter about 2/3 of the way through

How very clever to write a bestselling, fun novel called The Devil Wear's Prada and then rewrite it, but this time change the names of everyone and change the job position, and then publish it again. Fun, but ultimately lame for its lack of a new story.
