A short but funny adition to Stephanie Plum's escapades. I don't think she really needed another man in her life, but Diesel is a fun cameo character which pops up on occasion. I read these between the numbers books out of order, but once you near the end it really doesn't matter as the book all seem pretty similar anyway and nothing really gets solved in her life in previous books. I'M really just in this series for the ride and the hilarious characters.

It was time to pick up this book (or rather, load it on to my mp3 player) because I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Fearless Fourteen and didn’t want to skip a book! In this “Between the Numbers” book, Grandma Mazur manages to get herself kidnapped and Stephanie needs to get her back with the help of Diesel, Lula, Connie, and a few more of Trenton’s wacky characters. Oh, and Doug the horse.

This book was crap, but I sat down one afternoon needing brain candy and I finished it in a couple of hours. I had zero expectations for it, so I enjoyed it the same way I enjoyed Dumb and Dumberer, there was no way it could go anywhere but up with my preconceived notions. I can't imagine myself reading a series of the Stephanie Plum books, but this one was short, fast, and fun. A perfect beach book.

pretty good but it wasn't one of my favorite stephanie plum books. a pleasant diversion nonetheless, especially after suffering through "spook country!" looking forward to the next installment in the series (#14).

I love the Stephanie Plum series. It won't win any awards, but they sure are funny. A great series to get into if you need something fun and not at all "heavy."
