I've heard so much hype around this book. Sadly, it just didn't quite live up to the hype for me. There were parts where I chuckled, but it wasn't one of those books that I just couldn't put down.

Wow, the characters in this one. Certainly not my favorite book, and a dreary story, but you have to give it to the author that he has a very vivid imagination. I couldn't think up the craziness and idiosyncrasies of these people if I tried. There is not a single person in this book that I would actually want to know, other than maybe Burma Jones.
