What Members Thought
A very important book. I wish everyone would read it. First I read it and then I listened to it. I would recommend listening if you have to choose. The effect was much more emotional for me on the second reading.
An exceptional book. I wish I could convey my thoughts, dreams and fears of the world in such an eloquent and lasting manner to my own daughters.

Today I read a comment section that included these gems... "black on black crime... look at Chicago," and, shockingly, "I didn't even have to look to know these criminals would be black." this book won't fix those jerks, but those are the people who really should read Coates's perspective. I enjoyed this and appreciated having my mind broadened.
