I can’t wait until I see this in a month, and then again at the end of the summer. I caught many of the musical and literary references, but by no means all. This was so satisfying and uplifting and sad. So happy I was able to read it!

If you are as obsessed with "Hamilton," as I am - you will dive into this book like Alexander dove into Maria Reynolds bodice. I LOVE this book. Lin Manuel gives us all the great insider information on EVERYTHING - the songs, , the lyrics, the inspiration, the actors, even the set design. If you weren't able to see the original cast on Broadway (and really, who was?! those lucky bastards) this is the next best thing. As someone who will probably not get to see the play for a long night time, I really enjoyed this close up look at it. I also liked learning more about the creative process of creating the show and a lot of the deliberate thought that went into creating the characters and songs. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in Hamilton.
