Meh. The writing style was lack luster. For once, I liked the show the book was based on better than the book itself.
I watched Grantchester 2 or 3 weeks or so ago, and really liked it! I think the show is better than this book, but I still enjoyed reading about Sidney Chambers here. I like Amanda better in the show. I also enjoyed seeing how some lines in the series are lifted straight up from the pages of text. I think I will probably continue reading these books! Looking forward to season 2 :)
