ELantris took me on a pretty memorable journey. I was introduced to Sanderson through his Mistborn trilogy and, although you'd think I'd get used to the slow build-up in his novels after reading those, I found myself right back in the same boat.

~ Sanderson Sisyphean Challenge

Where do I even start? Again. I went into this having no clue what to expect and found myself blown away. Devoured again by this book, fretting and reluctant to watch the percentage count down any point passing 50%, because of the writing and story and the twist-turns and the characters.

Wow. I loved how this all unfolded. I got attached to the characters, from the ones I didn't expect to the awesome characters that drew you in. Everyone had depth. The plot was amazing and all of the twists and turns were either fun of unexpected.

This is on a grand scale with some violence, but I really liked the ending and would totally read more. ...more
