Taylor Jenkins Reid did it again! She's such a great writer. This book had me hooked immediately. With just a brief intro to Evelyn Hugo's character, I was already dying to know more about her Hollywood celebrity life, the 7 husbands, and all the scandals that came with them.
The characters are written in such a realistic and well-rounded way that you almost forget this isn't an actual memoir. Evelyn is written like a Rita Hayworth-type with an Elizabeth Taylor lifestyle but I kept picturing her ...more

This is not exactly what I expected. It was well written, and this the five stars. Mature themes. Don’t want to spoil it.
