What Members Thought

I was LOVING this book, at first. I found the characters to be immensely appealing, and their dialogue was fun and never felt forced. I was very much on board for a rekindled romance between Rhys & Vivi.
But then in the second half when the mystery of the curse needed to be tackled, it was like everyone took stupid pills. The only one with a lick of sense was the ghost. I liked this book. I’m glad I read it. It’s really fun for a romance with a witchy side. The humor, especially represented through the male protagonist, Rhys, is a lot of fun. I enjoyed the book the more I read it and if I had a complaint it would be to see the characters’ more when they were younger and in love rather than them just telling us about it. They would added a lot to the story. But overall, it’s a fun, open door romance with witchy and spooky vibes. Perfect for this time of year.
