What Members Thought

Claire - The Coffeeholic Bookworm
Daniel had worked all his life to be the great Guardian he was destined to be. But he had second thoughts when he finally learned who he would be watching over. Anna was breathtakingly beautiful and he assumed it was only a matter of time before he became blind in love and be like his father and would leave his family soon. Of course, this devastated his mom a whole lot, but then what choice did they have?

Anna was working her way up to success. But she didn't have confidence in herself. She's no

*I was provided a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great read and an excellent start to a new series. I was very happy to have the opportunity to check it out!
We are introduced to Daniel Lyoncourt, a young man who has trained his entire life to be a guardian to the Talented. Talents are the descendants of Greek Muses, and they each possess some level of power to influence. He is paired with an unknown named Anna. Anna is a foster child who has grown up thankful for

Before I read this book I knew that it involved Talents and Watchers and Guardians. I had no idea what that meant, but I figured it would be sci-fi or paranormal or otherworldly related.

I don't feel that way after reading the story. This is a good tale that makes you feel involved with the characters from the beginning.
It is action adventure with a non-graphic romance thrown in.
Whether you believe in the powers of the characters or not, it is well written and allows you to suspend any disbelief

******I received Muse as an ARC for an honest review.*******

I waited after finishing this book to write this review to see if after a couple of days my thoughts on it might change. Nope! Simply put, I loved this book, from start to finish. I loved the characters, the story, the action, the sarcasm, the obscure references to television shows and movies of my youth. There were awwww moments, there were angry moments and there were moments that were truly laugh out loud. It was a coming of age stor

This review is from: Muse: Descended from Myth: Book One (Kindle Edition)
I was given this eBook in exchange for an honest review.
Erin McFadden is an new author to me and I am very glad that I read this book. As a former school librarian, I have read quite a few stories written for the young adult and very few are so entertaining and well done. There are elements of danger, romance, intrigue and family ties all presented in an easily recognizable style to which young adults would understand and

I had the immense privilege to read the Muse; what an entertaining read it was! The author provided me with a free copy of her book in exchange of an honest review, which is what I’m doing now.

The muse/talents theme was greatly exploited. It is a truly creative and original way to base the story on. The Guardian organization is very interesting as well and I love the dimension that it brings to the story. There is some violence in this book, but nothing too graphic and it is serving well the st

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked this read up and I am glad I did! I was hooked from the very first page and fell in love with the book.

This is a fantasy read but co-exists with the “real” world as we know it. Their worlds collide and together they face a world of uncertain danger but what else do they encounter? Daniel descends from a long line of men who call themselves Guardians and Anna unknowingly descends from a line of Muses, also known as Talents. Daniel is willing to give his

I recieved this book in exchange for an honest review

Muse is a story of Daniel and his talent Anna. Daniel is a member of The Brotherhood of the Guardians and his job is to protect Anna who is a descendant of the original Muses. The character development was great and the story line was fantastic. I loved the way the author developed the relationship between Anna and Daniel.

The author had me hooked all the way through and i cant wait to read more by this author.

I loved this book from the begi

I recieved a copy of this book for an honest review. I was instantly hooked on this book! I read it in 2 days! I really love the different takes authors have for similar paranormal subjects. I really loved this idea of guardians for the influencers. Daniel and Anna are awesome and I love how well they work together, like they are one. I really want to read the next in the series!

****I reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review from the author.****

I really really enjoyed this book. It was an interesting concept, elements of Muses and Fate with interesting characters--the Guardians, Anna, Mina, Claire, Kaitlyn.

I was constantly excited with the events that were unfurled and didn't even mind the "insta-love" that happened (very rarely do I say that!). I feel like there is so much more that Erin McFadden can do with this series and the bad guy in this book, is only

I truly & honestly really enjoyed reading this book. I liked the idea of talents and guardians. Anna was a perfect heriorion. She prevailed in everything that challenged her. And Daniel was loyal all them way threw. I'm really excited to see how the next book plays out.

Awesome from front to back. While there is romance in this, I would feel very good about my teenage daughter reading it. I can't wait to see what becomes of Anna and Daniel and how they change the world of the guardians. ...more
