Wow, this book was really powerful and really addicting. Lila Felix took on a tough issue but made the characters loveable and my heart broke multiple times for multiple people.

What a great name for a great character in Havok. What an awesome guy and loved the radio side of Fade. What a great way to save her.

I loved this book. I loved Felix's message. I loved how it all played out. I loved the characters.

This is the first book I've read by this author and it won't be the last! I loved everything about it! This is a story of addiction, abuse, determination & love! Awesome job!

We have Havok, yes u read if right, HAVOK! Poor girl's druggy, stripper mom couldn't even spell it right! After tragedy after tragedy, Havok's mom is a total mess! Let me start off by saying that Lila Felix is easily becoming one of my favorite authors. This is the second book I've read by her and I've enjoyed both of them thoroughly.

Seeking Havok is a rather interesting story. Havok was born into unfortunate circumstances. You see right away that her home life is very depressing and that her mother is an awful human being. Seeking Havok is one of those books that has you wanting to chat with your friends about and make sure that everyone you know who reads books, adds this one to their libraries. I could not put this book down once I started it. It is definitely a page turner and will not disappoint.

Havok Jocelyn is a girl who lives in a crummy apartment with her mom who often brings her work home with her and it leaves Havok to being stuck in a closet to sleep & music to take away her pain of living like this. At night to drown out the sound she listens to Fade who is a local DJ on a night time program answering callers questions about relationships. Havok has dreamed of Fade for years and hopes to one day meet him in person. Little does she know, her Dreams are about to become Reality and she will not even know that he is in her life deeper than she ever dreamed he could be.

Havok has a paper route she does at night and one of her stops is a local bakery were not only does she deliver papers to, but she works for food by taking out the trash after school on her way home. Out of the bakery walks the hottest guy Havok has ever laid eyes on. She catches him staring at her and says something sarcastic that only catches his attention more. Havok likes going unnoticed in everyday life, she wears baggy clothes and always hides her face behind her hair and with her head down. Always being told she is nothing and will amount to nothing, has made it hard for her to accept that she really is a Beautiful girl on the inside and out.

Fade really loves his job as a DJ on his nightly show. He hates having to wake up at ungodly hours of the evening though. He stops by a bakery sometimes on his way in to work to grab some Pastries and Coffee to help get him through his nights, never did he think that on this particular night at the bakery that he would see the one woman who has made his heart beat a little faster.

One night while listening to Fade’s Show, Havok has decided to call in to the show and tell everyone listening that life is not all Peaches & Cream like they are all making it out to be. When she is asked for her name she tells Fade, Jocelyn since her name is kind of hard to hide behind. Jocelyns confession has really got Fade & the other listeners concerned for her. She said there was a man following her everywhere she went.

Coming home from work one morning Fade comes up to his door and there asleep on his mat is the one girl who he NEVER thought he would see sleeping on it, Havok. He takes one look at her face and feels like he needs to protect her with his life. Something about this woman sitting before him has him intrigued and he hopes by inviting her into his house, she will open up a bit more to him.

As time goes by, these 2 have developed a close friendship that Fade is hoping will turn into something more. When Fade first met Havok that first night, she asked him for his name and he told her Cal. He was hoping that Havok could really learn about the real Fade instead of jumping to conclusions and falling for the man behind the voice on the radio. Havok has no idea that she is staying at Fade’s house and he has no idea that Jocelyn is really Havok.

One night Havok calls into Fades show and lets him know that her life is changing and turning around for the better and that she may actually be happy for once. When Fade hears her say she is living with Cal, it is like his whole world has come crashing down around him. It is like she is living a double life and he doesn't know how long he can keep this secret in.

Havok starts to feel like a burden to Fade and winds up leaving his house one day while he is at work. She has no idea that this may be the last time that she ever sees him, or well anyone in her life ever again.

Fade has taken it upon himself to go on a full out search for Havok. He doesn't understand where she could be and what he has done so wrong to make her leave. He thought that things were good between the two of them. Will Fade ever find Havok or will their one chance at true love be gone forever…….
