I read this for the first time for our library's Read Aloud program during Covid-19. I think if I had read this when I was reading Harry Potter, I would have loved it more. It's still very clever (although a little predictable at this age) and makes for a great read aloud. I totally get why folks clamor to Rick Riordan and this he snatched up something great.
