What Members Thought

read way back in high school years before I'd ever seen the movie. (The book was better). I was an emotional teenager who went crying to mama during the sad parts (lol). I held on to an optimistic belief that they had an HEA ending after all. In hindsight, however, it would have serve her right to have a HNA (happily Never after).

I found this book fascinating and enjoyed the glimpse into the world for those in the south. Most books I have read about war focus on those serving in the military. What I loved about this book was its focus on life for those at home.

Believe it or not..I listened to this book..UNABRIDGED..
on tape a few years ago.
I loved it!!
I listened to it..while I walked and walked and walked..
I can't remember how many tapes...maybe 30 something..
Wonderful classic..
Of course I had seen the movie many times before I read it..and so I did picture Vivian Leigh and Clark Gable...etc..
