I listened to the free audiobook on Audible, and it was excellent.
What a wonderful surprise this book is. I wasn't expecting the themes to resonate so beautifully with me. Stevenson's commentary of good versus evil, the duality of man, societal conformity, friendship, faith in one another and hope are all so well-done and moving.
Most of us have an idea about this story, but I think if you read this slim volume you would find moments with such intense insight that you would b ...more

A re-read, but after so much time had passed I didn't remember much of it. There are many people who complain this tale is no longer what the future has made of it. The horror and gaucheness never existing and making for a let down in a world focused on the racing plot, the jumpscares, and the brutality of immeadiate violence.
