Christianity has a ton of really good stuff in it... a fact that is sort of drowned out in current American culture by the horribleness. You could do a lot worse than picking up a few of C. S. Lewis's slim volumes and just enjoying the pure, delightful love and self-awareness that Christianity could, someday, stand for. Maybe start with The Great Divorce or Screwtape Letters. ...more
