From IMDb:
After being discredited as a coward, a 19th century seaman (Peter O'Toole) lives for only one purpose: to redeem himself. Based on Joseph Conrad's novel written in 1900.

Even if is not an easy reading, I liked this book while enjoying my trip in Praha.

Joseph Conrad, what can you say except that he is amazing. I found myself stopping, rereading and repeating aloud sentences just for their sheer brillance and beauty. I must read more Conrad!!!
