The Blue Castle has got to be the most exquisite story I have read in a long time - certainly the best I have read so far this year. Such a delight from start to finish - and what a mighty punch it packs for such a tiny little book! Montgomery weaves together a seemingly impossible tale and yet effortlessly makes you believe in it. I loved this book. The audiobook version is amazing. (I would have never chosen it by the cover picture on goodreads. I’m glad my library’s copy had a different cover.)
