When I was a girl I spent nearly every summer with my grandparents in Iowa. I loved those two humans more than any others I have ever met. They were wonderful. We did many things together -- concerts, amusement parks, swimming pools, camping. And, one day they took me to see a funny, sassy, spunky girl named Pippi Longstocking. The main message is daring to be different, be independent, don't be afraid, don't care about what other people think. If I had to borrow Steve Jobs's quote, “Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?” Maybe Steve Jobs read Pippi Longstocking too. It's a good message for kids, but at the same time, it could be annoying and obnoxious if you take it too far, which I found Pippi to be in many occasions.
