Creative re-invention of Santa Claus as told in a whimsical fairy tale setting. I'm incredibly surprised this origin story has not been adapted to a blockbuster film in the way The Wizard of Oz was. With some minor changes it would lend itself greatly to the screen. It seems there is a lesser remembered Claymation movie and a cartoon that aren't very popular, but this story would work so well as a full length, live-action movie. Who knew the first reindeers where Glossie and Flossie...!!
Then later added Racer and Pacer, Reckless and Speckless, Fearless and Peerless, Ready and Steady!!

This is a great book...to think the Author of The Wizard of Oz wrote this in 1902...and he covers everything so well..
How Santa started making toys...how he became immortal...how he gets in houses that don't have chimneys..why there are Stockings hung...and how parents help..
All very well!!
Read it and make it a family tradition!!
