I read Foundation in High School, then saw the first Star Wars movie. I thought it was so much like Foundation that it was based on this trilogy. I didn't see Asimov's name at all in the credits, only George Lucas. I thought it time to re-read this series (spurred on by the latest Star Wars movie). I enjoyed it just as much this time. I have had this book on a to read list for a few years. It is supposedly a seminal work of science fiction everyone should read. I thought it was a book with a good premise but poorly written. It was confusing and left dangling story lines throughout. The book begins with a young scientist who arrives to learn from a great scientist who can predict the future. Chose surprenante : aucune femme n'apparait dans les 300 premières pages. À croire que le futur d'Asimov se crée sans elles.
