It's official: I adore this book. I adore it so much, I re-read it with my husband a month after reading it for the first time.
The story, of course, chiefly owes its fame to the glorious 1968 film adaptation. I have seen varying opinions on which is 'better,' so may as well throw my own opinion onto the pile.
