I liked this book much better than I thought I would! It's classic horror, with a thriller pace, and not fully predictable. Definitely worth reading, even if you have seen the movie. The ending is a bit... shocking.

I can see how this was so influential, but I felt the plot was so dang slow through the entire novel before it suddenly ended. Meh.
