What Members Thought
This was one of the few cases where I caught a movie before reading the book, and because of that I went in with some idea already formed of the plot and direction of the novel. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise that the novel was so completely different on nearly every possible detail, so it still managed to feel fresh.

2015 Reading Challenge: A book with a one word title (I'm not counting the "the")
I found myself quickly engrossed in this story. I really love stories that are based in real historic events. The early frontier time of explorers as always fascinated me.
