I read about half of this book before tabling it.

It's not a bad book. It's not a great book. I think this could be helpful to a certain kind of parent with a certain kind of kid. It did give me some ideas of things to try, but my child isn't really the "explosive" child the author describes.

Yes, she can be explosive (extremely loud and angry, even physically violent). Yes, she is strong willed and drives us crazy. Yes, she has very strong ideas about how everything should be.
